Make the system number static for multiple systems connected to HMCs

We have many LPARs which our many operators need to start console sessions on (monitoring backups, etc.). As such, we use macros to connect to these LPARs. When an HMC is rebooted, the number of the systems often change so the existing macros eith...

Restore useful links to IBM i Planning and remove worthless generic site.

The planning site underneath https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.5?topic=irs-related-information-installing-upgrading-deleting-i-related-software called "IBM Planning" could not possibly be any more useless. It should go to the good site. The good sit...

Please make the newer HMC models like the 7063-CR1 & 7063-CR2 models be able to read USB flash drives formatted as exFAT or NTFS. The latest service pack ISO file for V10R1 (Service Pack 1021) is 5 GB and is too large to go on a USB drive formatted as FAT32. The HMC is onlt able to read FAT32 formatted flash drives so I can't do my service pack update using a USB flash drive. I have to perform using the network method which is a bit more cumbersome. If the HMC was updated to allow USB format exFAT or NTFS then I could do ISO updates that are larger than 4 GB using the USB flash drive like I have always done in the past. Thanks.

Makes it more convenient for everybody using the HMC to do updates.

Simplify multilingual support by changing CRTDSPF and CRTPRTF to support new MSGCON parameter "Resolve MSGCON MsgID values at" *COMPILE (default) *RUNTIME (optional)

Multilingual support can be greatly simplified if IBM supports resolving MSGCON messages at *RUNTIME. Currently MSGCON messages are resolved at compile time only (not good). This is problematic because it locks-in compile time values to object whi...
