    When installing an OS on a new LPAR, it would be good if 1) there was a message to show that the disks were not in the right format, 2) show which format they are in, and 3) have a way to rectify it at that point in the install.

    AIX HBA Registers information with Name Server: a) FC-4 TYPEs object (see 7.2); and b) FC-4 Features object (see 7.3).

    HPE 3PAR storage subsystem needs the FC4 type info registered in SAN switch. AIX HBA does not perform that so it causes I/O problem and reboots AIX LPARs when it happens.
