Disable sensitive information on welcome page starting with version 8.6.0-SP1

Since update of 8.6.0 to SP1 the welcome page of the HMC displays different information from our hardware systems including information about servicable events etc.

PEP and any cross-site HMC management of systems in different locations

We have had multiple customers that have requested a requirement of "knowing the address of the system" rather than that of the problem analyzing HMC. They need to identify the service address of the machine rather than the managing HMC so they kn...

HMC pedbg command single frame info

Currently the pedbg command grabs ALL relevant data from ALL the HMC's Managed Systems. This can take upwards of an hour especially when we're only interested in a single Managed System. We're requesting the pedbg command to have a switch to allow...

Add a tree view option to the Systems page.

It would be useful to see which partitions were on which physical machine/serial number in one view. Older versions of the HMC had this view and it would be nice if V10 had it without having to switch to the old dashboard.

Option to use vSwitch VEPA mode as default

Currently PowerVM creates any new virtual switch (vSwitch) in VEB mode by default. To change the mode to VEPA an installed and running VIOS including an active RMC connection is required. In our environment for security reasons all internal traffi...

Expand UpgradeLV

HMC was on V10R1M1020 and we wanted to upgrade it to R2M1030. saveupgdata -r disk failed because of not enough space on UpgradeLV. We have 22 managed systems on one HMC and many users on the HMC. None of the users has anything large in home direct...

Managed System name on LPAR page

In earlier versions of HMC with enhanced UI there was a way to find a name of the managed system where the LPAR resides. Either it was shown on the top of the screen (Resources -> All Systems -> System Name -> Partitions -> Partition N...
