Alternative open source packages in ACS

All the PASE packages are delivered by YUM - and it works great. The ACS interface even makes installation much easier. However not all open source is available in YUM. It will be rather useful to have a "one-stop-shop" for all kind of open source...

Self-closing tags in COBOL (IBMi)

Creating XML messages on COBOL using XML-GENERATE has limited option when compared to Z/OS COBOL. Getting around the requirement to build XML with self-closing tags is a tedious task. Would be helpful to have this option in native COBOL.

Customer is using AIX as DNS servers and have following request: Is it possible to either patch or upgrade our DNS-servers on AIX to a version which supports either algorithm 8 (RSASHA256) or algorithm 13 (ECDSAP256SHA256). ?

migrlpar: add option to map port_vlan_id of virtual ethernet adapters to a different ID

When using the migrlpar HMC command to migrate an LPAR using LPM, it would be useful to have the option to map a vlan id to a different vlan id for the LPAR being migrated.

Syntax support for new Cobol verbs

Today syntax checking isn't done for new Cobol verbs like EXIT SECTION, EXIT PARAGRAPH, EXIT PERFORM and ALLOCATE. We are using EXIT SECTION a lot now but RDi always shows that it is some error in the code.
