New user controllable AIX parameters for unix domain socket buffer size

End-user : Hana Bank in Korea
OS : AIX v7.2
Middleware : TMAX (TP Monitor) from TMAXSoft in Korea
Client's core banking application performance is getting worse as the size of application data that needs to be passed between those application processes are getting bigger. TMAX, which client's applications run on, uses AIX unix domain sockets to provide inter-process communication capability for user application processes. AIX default send_buffer size of unix domain sockets is 16KB and it needs to be increased to provide better throughput for data communication between applications. But, AIX doesn't provide any parameters to control the size of buffers that used for unix domain sockets. The client is strongly insisting that user controllable parameter should be provided to set buffer size of unix domain sockets
