While adding the per-adapter LLDP support, please also take into consideration other link-local protocols like CDP that should also be able to keep track of individual connections.
While adding this support, please consider also: the LLDP broadcasts received on backup_adapter. Also, the sent broadcasts for a SEA/channel should identify the physical ports instead of the SEA/channel.
