    Hello,

We cannot read out the attribute 'sshPublicKey' from LDAP. Other attributes, f.i. 'homeDirectory' or 'gecos' are possible.
Could it be, that the 'secldapclntd' does not know this attribute?

    The error message is:
    Error getting object(s).

    Regards, Robert John

Please use lsldap command instead of ldapsearch to fetch ssh key from ldap server as shown below

    lsldap -a passwd | sed -n 's/^[ \t]*sshPublicKey:[ \t]*\(.*\)/\1/p'

lsldap command fetches the ssh key from LDAP server by using secldapclntd daemon. lsldap is more secure than ldapsearch as we have not to provide lsldap command with LDAP admin username and password on the command line.
