Hi IBM.
The output from iostat -F is truncated at 20 characters for file-systems names. This can make it almost impossible to confirm the exact file-system that the IO is going to, when you have many mounts that all start with a similar name. E.g. Oracle, DB2 and SAP mounts, or WPARs.
As an example for a fix, from my PMR, IBM stated, topas truncates to 16 chars but in case of overflow will print the 7 beginning and 7 ending chars what might allow customer to differenciate is fs
Perhaps iostat -F could show the first 8 and last 12 characters or extend the output to 32 characters?
