Request to make the API getwparstate() threadsafe

We use the API getwparstate() to fetch the wpar status as active or not. This API works if invoked from within a main() execution of the program. However, this API is failing to return correct state when it is invoked from a thread.
We took help from IBM support to debug this issue and found that this API is not thread safe.
The current request is to make the getwparstate() API thread safe.

There is no plan to provide this WPAR enhancement in the next 18 months. Given it's been almost 2 years since the request, I think it's best to decline the RFE.
