My customers are also requesting this feature.
Email is getting more difficult to manage all the time from spf records, dmarc and dkim records just to get an valid invoice off an IBM server. Wanting to direct all email to machines that manage that better, they are requiring a basic authentication to relay mail which AIX is not providing. Its feeling like AIX is not keeping up.
