AIX Failed Login count file log rotation

It is observed that if a user tries to login to a server using any account, and if it fails to login, its recording a entry in /etc/security/failedlogin file, so, if some one can script this login and keep retying 100's of 1000's of times, it can fill up / eventually causing issues to the servers.

so, options are.
1. Include some kind of log rotation for this file by default
2. Move it some other directory other than /
3.if server gets failed logins for some user too frequently, only login information first 4 or 5 times, and then record a message saying we got 1000 more failed logins for this user over next 1 hour.
