Currently when an IBM Power system running aix has its HAK (ie hardware access key) expire each and every lpar on the system logs:

This not only creates a lot of potential noise but also confusion and the fact its a permanent hardware error creates unwarranted cause for troubleshooting when no trouble actually exists.

It would make more sense for this specific problem to be much more specific in it wording AND effect that it has. I just spent all weekend with a company who spent ll day Saturday on the weekend chasing their tail looking for problems with their system that didnt exist.
