Product FPGA on Power Systems is a commonly used expansion Unit that provides monitoring and error management of PICe adapter.

Description: Customer uses SIView on Power Systems with pureScale. RMDA on RoCE adapter is used to access fast between the multi systems for pureScale. However, EEH don't support the error for RMDA on RoCE adapter, and RoCE adapter doesn't work after reset FPGA. So system cannot handle RoCE, in the result all of systems , configured by pureScale, had to shut down for restarting.

    Let me know why don't support. We are going to explain to customer.
    I thought this request can manage by Power firmware.

    AIX is unable to address this issue. Please pursue this matter with DB2 purescale.

    AIX is unable to recover the RoCE connection following an EEH event. AIX is dependent upon the user of RoCE to restart the connect. This RFE should be evaluated by IBM DB2 Purescale
