Yes, ISIM is using IBM Security Directory Server and yes IBM Security Directory Server is able to store the AIX default_roles attribute.
However, The current ISIM agent does not collect this atribute (default_roles) information. Therefore it is alwys empty. And the ISIM frontend does not offer a field where a AIX default_role can be specified.
attributes also has roles attribute where you can specify the AIX RBAC roles. If our understanding is correct, the SDS server also supports
2307aixuser schema which in turn supports default_roles attribute. Can you let us know whether you have tried the same.
If above is not true, please expand the problem details and more importantly how you add the roles to user on Identity Manager.
Also, we believe the default roles mentioned in the RFE is same default_roles attribute on AIX ? On AIX, default_roles is a subset
of roles from roles assigned to the users, which is activated after user logs in successfully instead of doing swrole.
Please help provide more information to investigate further.
