Improve AIX Live Kernel Update network security for a cloud

Currently, AIX LKU requires the AIX partition to be able to access the HMC (or PowerVC) and login with an account that has sufficiently high privileges to create and delete partitions, network adapters etc. In our setup, as cloud provider, the customers' partitions NEVER have access to the HMC, Novalink, VIOS, PowerVC etc., because they are in a different network and no communication is allowed. This means we cannot use AIX LKU because we don't allow our customers to access our "internal" network.

One possible solution I see is for AIX LKU to "piggyback" on the (RMC) connection already present to either the HMC or Novalink server (and PowerVC from there).

And regardless of the network issue, I don't want to hand-out the credentials to our HMC or PowerVC servers to our customers' AIX admin. I don't want them to be able to 'just' SSH into our HMC or PowerVC. That maybe fine if there is one (the) customer using the system and managing both AIX and HMC etc., but not in a shared environment like a (private) cloud.
