Stop generating alerts each time "stopsrc -s IBM.SoftwareRM" is run

When IBM.SoftwareRM is stopped gracefully it creates a serviceable event that then alerts notification recipients as configured on the HMC. When we installed the recent HIPER ifix for SoftwareRM across our estate it generated a flood of alerts.

We opened a support case and were advised that these events are for reference and no particular administrator action is required. We were further advised that the HMC has no facility to suppress these specific events. The alerts create unnecessary noise and alert fatigue.

As such it would be beneficial if these events can be stopped.
