As mentioned in previous comment, HMC already supports LDAP groups. Please let us know if there is anything missing in the existing implementation which you would like to be added.

    Hi,

HMC already does support LDAP groups. You can use the chhmcldap command to configure the groups to provide access and also enable automanage so that you don't have to create the user in each & every HMC.

Please refer to the chhmcldap command man page for automanage and hmcgroups options (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/POWER8/p8edm/chhmcldap.html). Also, please refer to https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/groups/community/powerhmc for Blog and files on LDAP related config.

Please let us know if this addresses your problem.

    Thanks.
