Maintenance capabilities for vNIC Failover

In order to make preparations for maintenance activities (e.g. VIOS updates) more efficient in setups with vNIC failover, it would be helpful to have a new HMC capability that allows to switch all active backing devices from a selected VIOS to the next favored operational backing device. In addition, it would also be helpful to have a capability to enable or disable Auto Priority Failover for all vNIC adapters on a managed system.

    Hi,

    Enhancements requested in this RFE have been delivered with HMC V10 (10.1.1010.0 & 10.1.1020.0).
