Create Iso Admin only function from HMC

Add the ability to just have the ability from the HMC interface to the VioServer to allow a user to manage Iso images add / delete them and assign them to partitions.
Currently users with that capability can see all storage npiv, vscsi, disks, storage pools etc.

allow iso administration without giving them the ability to manage all storage tasks from the HMC.

HMC team said it was a function from the VioServer that needed to be added to allow the HMC the ability to do that task without seeing all storage devices. this would allow the user to only see virtual optical devices.

Thank you for raising PMR # 41627,122,000 with IBM Software Support ,This is Manar with pHMC team , I'll be assisting you in this PMR.

This action is not supported as that the action is really happening on VIOS and the HMC is just using RMC to send the commands to VIOS to manage the resources. You can setup a user that can access a hmc resource, but those are systems or lpars..

You can submit an enhancement request on RFE community site for that.
