SNMPv3 traps for Power Hardware Management Console
Our information security team is concerned that the HMC only appears capable of sending SNMPv2 traps, even though the agent is described as SNMPv3. They are concerned that unencrypted traps would allow an intruder to monitor the success or failure of attempts to attack servers, and want to know whether SNMPv3 traps are supported by IBM and how to configure them, or when does IBM intend to support SNMPv3 traps.
