Do you have more information how PHYP is calculation the required memory for LPM?

    Support for querying the memory required for a migration via HMC command line is currently planned for 4Q 2020 release.

    Based on the email discussion, request was to show memory required even if the validation is successful. Support for getting the approximate memory required for a migration is planned to be added in an upcoming release.
