PEP and any cross-site HMC management of systems in different locations

We have had multiple customers that have requested a requirement of "knowing the address of the system" rather than that of the problem analyzing HMC.

They need to identify the service address of the machine rather than the managing HMC so they know which regional team they need to dispatch.

In my investigations this goes beyond HMC and also has CROSS implications for how a CE is engaged and dispatched with the proper phone number populated and location of the system to be serviced.

    Hi,

    We evaluated this request and is part of a long term roadmap to provide an option to store the physical location of the server and use it for purposes of call home and other use cases.

    UPMC had inquired about this capability and I cannot provide an ETA for them. Can someone please identify an ETA for this function. It affects EVERY customer and should have already been implemented.
