HMC command to retrieve lpar description and group tags

The LPAR general properties allows the specification of a "description" and the specification of "group tags". However there is no mechanism to retrieve these values from the command line.

The REST API isn't a CLI interface. When we ask for a CLI interface we are refering to the HMC CLI that is accessible via SSH.

    Hi,

The information of LPAR's Description & Associated groups is available via the REST API which can be used for scripts or automation. You can perform a GET operation on LogicalPartition and can get the LPAR's description/associated groups value. Please see https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/P8ESS/p8ehl/apis/LogicalPartition.htm

    Thanks.
