As mentioned in earlier sequence, there is already a pop-up which warns that there are active lpars when you try to power off a system. Default selection in that pop-up has been changed to "No" with HMC V9 R1 M941. Please let us know if you need more information.
Hi,
When Power Off system is selected , there is a pop up with a "Yes" or "No" question if there are lpars running in the system and if user selects "yes", then there is another pop up asking to choose "Normal Power Off" or "Fast Power Off" and then Power Off is done. So there are 2 pop-up's or selections before a system is powered off. Also, there is a specific task for "Powering Off" a system and task roles can be created in such a way that only specific or required HMC users have access to Power Off a system. Can you please provide more details on any specific problems you have come across?
Thanks
Thanks.
