reduce caching which might result in "config has been changed by other operation" message

this might be worth a ticket, but also can be caused be framework: in about 25% of the cases i work with system or LPAR properties, the attached message (German: "Die Konfiguration wurde durch eine andere Operation geändert. Aktualisieren Sie die Webseite und wiederholen Sie die Operation") is being shown.
Telling "The config has been changed by a different operation. Update the web page and retry the operation".

Mostly happens when changing system name or system location field.

As i am the only user it must be some other source for the change.

Need to refresh browser window serveral time until change can be commited.

Sometimes (10%) the change is committed even when the error message came up.

Discussed with Holger and marking this as declined for now. If a case is opened and confirmed to be a defect, will change the state to "is a defect".

    Hello Holger,

Had the same issue when using Firefox, when I was the only user also.

    Greetings Rudi

I will setup a dedicated environment to test this. I suspect some caching issues,
as this message is seen more often using chrome than using IE or Edge.
(in all cases there is only one user).
Will report here or in ticket later.

Please see earlier comments. If the "config changed" message is occurring without anyone actually making a change, a case can be opened to investigate the same.

    Hi,

The "config has been changed" message should come only if the configuration has changed in one way or another between the time you launched the view & submit after making the changes. If you are sure that nothing has changed in that time window & still the "config changed" message was shown, would recommend to open a case with the relevant information & logs.

    Thanks.
