Remove Restricted I/O Mode

I have opened a PMR with regard to a SYSPLAN deployment.
We have 2x identical 8484 22A systems. We are planning to run 2x VIOS servers and 15x IBM i LPARs. I have configured one system with dual VIOS, 15x IBM i LPARs and all the required virtual fibre adaptors. Then I created the system plan on that system and tried to deploy the same on the other one where I am getting HSCLAA2B saying I have to enable "Restricted I/O mode". That mode is enabled on the source system for all the IBM i LPARs so I expected it to be on the SYSPLAN. But as per the reply from Bob for my PMR ( TS00155716 ). SYSPLAN won't recognise the restricted I/O mode on source system so unable to deploy on target.

    Please see comments in previous sequence on templates feature which helps in initial setup of a system from scratch. Please let us know if you need more info.

    Hi,

    For capturing the configuration and deploying on another system, have you looked at the templates feature in HMC? System template helps with installing a fresh system, configuring/installing VIOS etc and partition templates can be used to capture/deploy the partitions.
