common commands for HMC

I understand the HMC platform being an appliance, but, sometimes we want to process the results of the output from the HMC on the HMC rather than outside for performance reasons. We would like to have some of the more common commands available , like bc etc ... as these are locked away at the moment. Also monhmc requires a terminal - can this be written to not require a terminal ?

Thanks,
Scott

    Hi,

Can you please provide the list of commands which you would like to be available in the restricted shell env of HMC? Also, for monhmc, pressing ctrl + c takes you back to the command prompt from where you issued the command. Is there a specific use case where the current o/p mechanism is not working?

    Thanks.
