Show progress of update download

Imagine you have a Power server powered off to install a disruptive firmware update.
Wouldn't it be nice to have some kind of idea about how long the install will take?
I miss having a progress bar with file size, and estimated remaining download time.
Right now my update has been downloading for over an hour, and I have no idea if we're at 5% or 95% when the customer asks me how long he's going to be down.

A workaround if using the IBM i as the file repository is to do a netstat option 3 (F11) to view the bytes out to the HMC to see how much of the ISO has gone over the wire. Having the transfer rate and progress bar on the HMC GUI would however be welcome as the patches continue to grow in size.
