Add HMC functionality to filter and block specific conditons from being logged as a console event.

I would like to request to add to HMC software functionality to block or opt out from logging specific console event completely. For example we're getting lots of following messages in HMC console log
09/14/2020 12:40:04.580 User lpar2rrd has logged off from session id 174 for the reason: The session was idle too long.
09/14/2020 12:40:04.560 User lpar2rrd has disconnected from session id 174 for the reason: The session was idle too long.

Basically I would like to make HMC to ignore any messages about user's lpar2rrd sessions. Not exclude them from being displayed, but exclude them from being logged.

In broader sense we need to have capability to block particular event in general to be logged by HMCs console events subsystem.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the enhancement request. Can you provide more info on what kind of messages would you like to be filtered out from audit/console event logs? One of the examples specified is for lpar2rrd login. Is this more of a patter based filtering similar to the feature available for rsyslog? Please note some of these messages will be needed for audit and debug and so we need to evaluate if these will be logged elsewhere even if a filter is provided.
