    .Export of Performance Monitoring Data is available from HMC V8 R8.6.0. The option to exclude network configuration data while taking HMC backup is delivered with HMC V8 R8.7.0.

    Hi,

    The existing HMC backup/restore function provides a mechanism to take a backup excluding the network configuration & can be restored on a different HMC, which can be used to get the historical data.

    Yes. If we have a disaster and have to go to our other site we would be nice to have the historical data

    Export is planned for a future release, but we are not planning for backup/restore to a different HMC. Is the backup/restore to a different HMC for visualizing the archived data?

    We are working on the ability to export PCM data to CSV data for an upcoming release.
