HMC Events to include more alerts logs in HMC management.

In HMC view management console events, It does not displays complete logs. If any Lpar resources moved dynamically between Lpar's then those messages are not displayed in HMC events. Also there are messages displayed with timestamp for hscroot profiles login but it does not displays any message for normal user profiles expiration alert. If normal users password is disabled or expired , then users has to use hscroot to reset the password. If users needs to extract the hardware event logs from HMC putty then we use commands to extract and share it to IBM Rochester team to provide information. If we receive the alert on HMC event console then it will be convenient to support.

As per the e-mail discussion, marking as delivered, since the password expiration alert function is already available.

    Hi,

On the 2nd part of the question related to user profiles, is the requirement to have a pop up message for each event logged to the hardware management console events? or is it specific to get an alert when a user's password is going to expire?

    Thanks.
