This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Many organizations use proxy servers to control/manage external traffic. Some of these (Palo Alto Networks, for one) create a man-in-the-middle certificate so that SSL traffic can be proxied the same way as HTTP traffic. An example of this activity from the HMC is checking the "IBM Service Website" option when looking for available firmware updates. If the proxy uses an internal certificate not recognized by the HMC, the query will quietly (and instantly fail). A ticket to IBM reports that the ability to install a client-side CA certificate is not available, which means this functionality will break for many customers when the IBM switch to SSL/TLS only occurs later this year.

Latest versions of HMC already has the capability to add trusted certificates. Please see the chhmccert command for details
chhmccert -o add -t trustedcert -l trustedsslserver -a cmccert
-h cmcportal-powercloud.mybluemix.net
Add a certificate located on a trusted server and use a proxy connection with authentication:
chhmccert -o add -t trustedcert -l trustedsslserver -a ssltestcert
-h <hostname> --proxyserver <proxy serverip:port>
--proxyuser userID --proxypasswd password
Remove a trusted certificate:
chhmccert -o remove -t trustedcert -a cmccert
Thanks
