The existing HMC smtp event-notification feature is suboptimal.
It is missing essential information and email subject is cosmetic verbiage.
Make it possible for user to customize subject and mail content extracted from HMC serviceable-events.
The subject should include “ Hostname, MTMSN, IBM-Case-No. and SRC”
eg. Subject : " Problem report from Host32 - 9080-HEX/787xxxx - TS016xxxxxx - SRC BC20E504 "
For the email-content user should be able to select the information from "HMC serviceable-event-view -> show details”.
Give user option select the information-fields to be send with email and to format the email text/content in a structured manner for good reading.
