CLI Import for Certificates

System: Supported pSeries HMC Code Versions
Actor: AIX/HMC SAs

Description: HMC code by default uses self-signed certificates. In this day and age of exploiting weaknesses, businesses are blocking self-signed certs via the browser. Yet certificates can only be managed in the GUI. Once a HMC has to be reloaded, it will no longer be accessible via the browser due to the self-signed cert being blocked. How can the certificate be imported if the GUI is blocked?

Support for certificate management via CLI is added in HMC V9 R1 M930 with mkhmccert, chhmccert, lshmccert commands.

I would argue this doesn't just apply to a CLI tool to import certificates, we should also be able to generate a new self signed certificate from the CLI as well if we rename the HMC. I would argue in the DevOps age when automation at scale is key there is no function in the GUI that should not also be available through both the CLI and the REST API.
