Currently HMC doesn't use SELinux and hence the RBAC wil SELinux cannot be used. We will discuss and get back with updates on other options.
Hi,
We discussed about this requirement. Currently, if a user is created with hmcsuperadmin role, then the user can change the hscroot password and the requirement is to have a task separation only for changing the hscroot user so that a custom task role can be created and used where needed. One question we had on the use case was - are there other OS that are allowing the kind of granularity to change the superadmin or root (hscroot) password and the requirement is to be consistent with those?
Thanks.
