Support for configuring multiple base DN's for LDAP has been added with HMC V9 R1 M920.

I think if IBM implement this it would be a good opportunity to provide the ability to specify groups too... for example, I have 300+ HMCs and 60+ people who need access to them - that's 36,000 accounts I need to create and enable for LDAP. Where as if we take what DS8000 or other products do, we point the HMC at groups (which each get mapped to either admin/read only etc) then anyone in those groups gets the necessary access.
