Add OS version compatibility to LPM verification check process

LPM passed verification, LPAR successfully migrated, however, the OS version running in the LPAR was AIX 5.3, which is not supported on the target frame ( Power8 E870). Partition was non-functional, and had to be manually recovered back to the source system.

As per the discussion, the compatibility check is already done for the Proc compatibility mode and in this particular case, a specific level was required on the OS for LPM. So closing the RFE.

    Hi,

The processor compatibility mode is validated as part of the LPM process. Based on the configured compatibility mode and supported modes on the target system, partition is allowed to boot/migrate. In this specific case though, there was PTF required on AIX 5.3 (PTF U86665 for AIX 5.3 TL 12 SP 9 (https://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/cgi-bin/ssialias?htmlfid=897/ENUS216-155&infotype=AN&subtype=CA )) for the partition to migrate/boot successfully on a Power 8 system.

    Thanks.
