HMC issues after upgrade to V7.7.9.0 SP3

We have upgraded HMC from HMC V7.7.9.0 SP1 to HMC V7.7.9.0 SP3.
After HMC update , when trying to run any "viosvrcmd" commands its not working and giving error as below. The same commands were working before the upgrade when we were in lower SP level.

hscroot@gb01qhm020jlrxm:~> viosvrcmd -m JLR-p770-3-SN060FFC7-SGB -p gb01qvi140jlrxm -c "oem_setup_env
> grep -p padmin /etc/security/passwd"
HSCL2970 The IOServer command has failed because of the following reason: ioscli oem_setup_env
grep -p padmin /etc/security/passwd contains illegal data:

Below is the current HMC level:

I got this link ( https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CmIFB5YWgAE2EGM.jpg:large ) as work around but it doesn't work for HMC V7.7.9.0, seems to be working for HMC V8

I have been suggested by ALEX from HMC team to move to HMC Version 850 or 860 . However our hardware doesn't support to move to version 8 of HMC. Hence , pmr team suggested to raise a RFE (Request For Enhancement ) with development team to change product design so that it will work

    Hi,

From the command & the error for the command, looks like the viosvrcmd is being used to run root commands in the vios by prefixing the oem_setup_env. Since this is a security problem, using oem_setup_env via the HMC viosvrcmd has been blocked. In HMC version 850 or later, there is a new option --admin introduced in the viosvrcmd which allows to run the root commands on vios to which user has access to. You can use ssh mechanism to login to vios & run the commands if upgrade is not possible.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.
