Adapter Microcode Update API

Please provide a unified automated way to update device microcode instead of our current process of manually removing/unmapping. Would like a HMC API or something like that, that can simply update adapter microcode with out user have to work on a bunch of manual steps.

This is the process that JPMC is following to quiesce the FC/NIC adapters IOs
- Login to the VIOS partition
- Make sure that the VIO clients have redundant FC/NIC paths
- unmap the virtual NIC/FC adapter
- This would trigger a failover to the redundant paths both NIC and FC
- Upgrade the IO adapter firmware by calling AIX diag command and we do it for every port of the card
- Then call cfgmgr for all the virtual NIC/FC adapter to make them available
- Check the VIO clients to see all the paths came online
- All the above is done using a script that is run on VIOS
- This script needs to ported to all the VIOSes in our environment

JPMC is looking to IBM to have a simplified procedure where there are no scripts involved and can be done from one place which in this case is HMC.
