When installing ACS on Win 10 it does not create a menu option like previous versions.
The is a problem as users will periodically delete the icons on the screen and they can then not start ACS.
We need the menu option to allow users to access ACS and generate new icons on the screen if necessary.
If a user deletes the start up icons, they cann get ACS started and have to get IT support to recreate the icons.
This does not work well after hours when IT support is unavailable.
Most IT support today is not familiar with ACS so they are not of much help either.

By clicking the "Post Comment" or "Submit Idea" button, you are agreeing to the IBM Ideas Portal Terms of Use.
Do not place IBM confidential, company confidential, or personal information into any field.
We will not be providing this option at this time. As an alternative, the easiest way to get the icons back on the desktop is for the user to run the uninstall script followed by the install script. Their configuration and settings will remain intact.
IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.
