RELATED IDEAS

New API with ability to convert/copy spoolfiles into XML file.

Create a new API that can take a specified spoolfile and convert it into a XML file (with defined IFS location).
XML format should be
- report - Parent/root
- - meta - meta information via DSPSPLFA
- - pages - parent for all pages
- - - - page - individual page
- - - - - - line - individual line (even if it is empty), maintaining spacing.


Use Case:

To be greatly used in a spoolfile conversion too (PDF, DOC, etc)

    .It is unlikely we could follow your format for *AFPDS files, as the line information would be hard determine consistently once spooled. The format could be applied to *SCS spooled files.

    IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.
