Different Systems grouped in Taskbar ACS

Hi, we want to seperate our different Machines in different symbols in the Taskbar in Windows 10.

We have 3 symbols, one for the Austrian System, a second one for the Hungarian System and the third for our testing machine.

When i click the first symbol, the first system comes up in the correct symbol. But when i open then another symbol, the window is always attached to the symbol i opened first.

Use Case:

Our users wants a clear seperation for the systems, so that there can't be make a mistake.

You mentioned that your users need a way to clearly identify what system they are using. I'll suggest you make use of the watermark capability which allows you to set customized text or images in the background of the 5250 screen. You can also set the opacity of the text or image so it can be as much in the background or foreground as you need. From a 5250 session, select: Edit->Preferences->Watermark... Is that sufficient to meet your needs?

I get around this by copying the windows .exe that comes with the install, one for each type of Windows task bar grouping I want. I then create short cuts to these new .exe's so that I can associate icons. Open the short cut and then pin to the task bar.

You have to be careful about file associations. One .exe could / will overwrite any set by another copy. You might have to go into the registry to modify the programs associated with a file type.
