Define Fields - Cannot Successfully Edit & Save

We need the ability to edit a define field and include within it a new define field just created. However, it doesn't work because the new define field is not sequentially above the define field being edited within the text editor source.

The program needs to be changed so it reads through all the fields in the synonym, and not just those created prior to the one being edited. I was told by development to have users delete the original define field and create a brand new and delete the original. Or edit the text editor, but normal dev users do not have admin access which is necessary to edit the source. Nor should that be the solution.

Use Case:

Create define field abc.
Create define field xyz.
Edit field abc and add xyz within the define, you get error.
Edit text editor and move field xyz above abc.
Then try to edit field abc and add xyz within the define, now it saves w/o error.

Thank you for submitting your request to IBM. We will evaluate it and provide an update after the evaluation.

To be honest, the order of defining fields prior to use is not a phenomenon unique to Web Query. Many products have this same requirement. However, we will still evaluate the request.
