Command line tool to reset(re-ipl) Virtual IOA's

Our current situation: We use VTL connected via fiber IOA and VIOS .
when a change is done on the VTL we must log into service tools to "re-ipl" the virtual IOA.

    I am hoping that an option can be added to the VRYCFG command as in my mock-up example below for the RESET() parm


    VRYCFG CFGOBJ(TAPE_MLB) CFGTYPE(*DEV)

    STATUS(*ON) RESET(*VIOP)

    IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.

    The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM addresses this requirement as a "nice to have" (low priority) feature. Changing the VTL seems like an occasional operation.
