RPG lpex editor line split

RPG line split starts the new line in position 1 and causes errors. Would be nice for it to create the new line with same indentation as the existing line (more like the embedded SQL editor). Would be really cool if it could word-wrap automatically, but at the very least please start new lines in valid positions, preferably indented to the same level as existing line.

Use Case:

Adding a parm to a 1-line procedure call that makes it too long to fit on a single line.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for Power Systems

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for Power Systems

I just want to heartily second Thierry's suggestion for "intelligent split" functionality. For another use case, it's easy to overrun column 80 when commenting source. The ability to split a comment line and have the text wrap to the same column as the line above -- with comment delimiters (//) automatically inserted -- would be a nice time-saver. (Automatic wrapping would be too much to ask at this time.) ;-)

This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.

Hi Thierry, I asked for this functionality in this RFE http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=25265

You migth want to reassign the a-S shortcut to the splitLine action instead of the default of split. This will put the part after the cursor at same indentation.

I would still like to see a mode intelligent split and join for RPG. For instance, if I split in the keywords section of a D spec, the next line should have the 'D' spec added and the split text would go to the keywords sections. The join would do the reverse.
