This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

If the Menu bar is not hidden, a right-click for both products produce the same poppad options. So our guess here is that when using the old product you had the Menu bar hidden. Then by right-clicking on the title bar, you were presented with the menu options which allowed copy/paste. If that is the case, then when running on the new product with the menu bar hidden, right-clicking within the presentation space (instead of the title bar) now produces the menu bar options which include copy/paste.
If on the other hand, you were using a customized poppad in the old product, you should also be able to have a customized poppad in the new product. We have also provided the ability to change the default behavior of the right-click to show the menu bar options instead of the poppad. To change the default behavior for right-click, from an emulation session select: Communication->Configure, Preferences, Right mouse button. Selecting Context menu will show the menu bar options instead of the default poppad. If none of this still addresses your request, we will need more specific details of your 5250 session and what you are visually seeing when you right-click.
You should look into Kerberos for this type of connectivity. You can set up the 5250 session to auto sign on after startup. You can also activate a tool bar with a quick disconnect/connect button.
