RELATED IDEAS

add 3270 emulation to ACS client

We currently have a need for a java emulator 5250 which works well with the exception that we also need the same java client (ACS) to have the ability to connect 3270 to our mainframe. We would like to have 3270 added to ACS 5733 XJ1


Use Case:

Warehouse setting, 22+ with 500+ users per shift, front office functions. Thin client connects to both iSeries and Mainframe to log information and view transactions. Also hand held devices do the same as noted before.
