Integration between Schemas and Run SQL Scripts

There should be better integration between the Schemas application and the Run SQL Scripts application.
At minimum there should be shortcuts from Schemas to Run SQL Scripts and from Run SQL Scripts to Schemas.
It would be nice to be able to right click on a table or view in Schemas and select "Open in Run SQL Scripts" and have a select statement for the table with all of the fields listed (similar to Data Studio).
It would be nice to highlight a table or view in Run SQL Scripts and be able to open the Schemas Definition for that table.

Use Case:

1. I find myself going back and forth between run sql scripts and the definition of the database objects in order to write queries.
2. When designing queries I start by using "select *" to get the list of fields and then narrow down the fields that are needed. It would be nice to start out with a list of all the fields and then remove the ones I don't need.

The following items are now available in version 1.1.7.3 dated February 2018:
    (1) a Tools menu has been added to each of the main DB windows ( Schemas, Run SQL Scripts, SQL Performance Center, Visual Explain ) to provide quick access to the other DB tools.
    (2) a "Query in Run SQL Scripts" action has been added to aliases, tables, table partitions, and views in Schemas.

Additional items will be considered as part of RFE 96285: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=96285

How does Data Studio play into this request since it has both functions mentioned?

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.
