RDI/RDP Copy/Paste like WDSC had for COBOL

In WDSC we could copy/paste on a line and not have the editor cut our words when pasting and it hits column 7(Comment Column) or column 73. ? ?Look at examples below I want to comment out the second line of the IF statement so I copy the my Project number 62JRB**. ? ?I then hightlight coulumn 1-7 on the 'Move line' and paste but it stops pasting at column 6? ? ?Ever since upgrading from WDSC to RDP have had this issue would like the old WDSC copy/paste function brought back as an option. ? ?See example below....
123456*A-1-B
62JRB** ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?IF TU-POLICY-TYPE = "7"?????????????????????????????
?Move "Y" to WS-X.
Below shows what the second line gets when I paste the 62JRB** to the second line of the IF statement.?
123456*A-1-B
62JRB** ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?IF TU-POLICY-TYPE = "7"??
62JRB* ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Move "Y" to WS-X.

Use Case:

Use it all the time adds extra key strokes, takes longer than coding in WDSC.

How can I get people to vote for this. Seems like such a basic function that should work in an IDE. When we used WDSC it worked fine. Ever since been a total pain in the A$$! You should be able to copy a line and paste to the next line and it doesn't stop pasting just becase of a column break.
