BRMS Recovery Report update for directories

The Recovery Report Step020 has a known issue with it in regards to how the IFS is saved. Reference N1014174: How *LINK Saves Affect Link Lists . The recovery report should have the following added to step020:

When using link lists in BRMS, users must be aware of how saves of *LINK can affect the recovery of link lists and what will be listed on the recovery reports. When using user-created link lists (WRKLBRM, QLNKOMT, QLNKOMTLTS, QLNKOMTONL, or QLTSOMTONL) or special control group values (*LNKOMTONL, *LNKOMTLTS, or *LTSOMTONL) and doing full or cumulative saves, these will be listed on the recovery report. However, if a "subsequent" full save of *LINK is run, the link lists will no longer be listed until they are saved again after the *LINK save.

Use Case:

I have been using BRMS for years and didn't realize this issue. I knew that the IFS portion of the recovery report was incorrect but didn't know why. I understand that there is a way to add user information to the recovery report but it should be put in every report as a warning. Reviewing the report before a reload would give a person the chance to verify the IFS save / restore strategy.
Having this in a technote is not sufficient.

The BRMS team believes that the request described has been solved and is available with the 7.4 base release.

We agree with this change but due language impacts this can't be changed till the next release after 7.3. This has been implemented in the next release after 7.3.

IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.
